They each have a different atmosphere, but in one way or another I like them all! The one that I go to most happens to be 25 minutes away, but their classes and clubs are so much fun. The shop closest to me is picture perfect and has the loveliest fabrics so I do a lot of shopping there too.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05440045492355646316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-72231219963117188432009-11-20T16:56:46.551-06:002009-11-20T16:56:46.551-06:00I like to support the LQS if possible but the pric...I like to support the LQS if possible but the prices are awfully high. Still, you get what you pay for I guess. My favorite shop is Red Hen Fabrics. there are about three LQS's near me but the other two are kind of snooty. I haven't purchsed quilt fabric online yet.Deborah M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04182216254312297935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-56605447648782775072009-11-19T08:28:41.144-06:002009-11-19T08:28:41.144-06:00I've never bought fabric online. I usually shop at our local Bernina store bz they have very high quality fabrics and I know when the sales are. I've found the fabrics I've bought from JoAnn's just don't hold up or hold their shape as well as those from Bernina.onlymeherehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08880378084448908090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-8700002512439842462009-11-19T01:40:39.720-06:002009-11-19T01:40:39.720-06:00That doesn't sound like good customer service ...That doesn't sound like good customer service to me. And I don't think they would turn the lights out on me either.Carrie P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10063988589711911820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-70893857171441878042009-11-18T19:57:47.358-06:002009-11-18T19:57:47.358-06:00I buy only online! I buy from so many places, many shops on etsy, hancocks of peducah, fabricshack, equilter, cias palette, quilted castle, fabric.com, sheree's alchemy, and the list goes on and on, and on!sewtakeahikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13787842449238535140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-37336536551320016552009-11-18T19:23:22.844-06:002009-11-18T19:23:22.844-06:00In the past 10 years, I've probably purchased ...In the past 10 years, I've probably purchased 90% of my fabric at a wonderful quilt store that I loved. Unfortunately, the owner decided to retire this fall and close the store. So it looks like I may be doing a lot more buying online now.

I've made purchases from Bonnie Blue Quilts, Connecting Threads, and Hancock's of Paducah with success. The downside of purchasing via the Internet is that it's almost impossible to always represent all colors as they truly are and I've had one or two disappointments when the fabric arrived.Mama Pea Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08449138881131132555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2664247988852576876.post-60140926160325046322009-11-18T11:28:04.335-06:002009-11-18T11:28:04.335-06:00I have several big quilt stores in my area - one h...I have several big quilt stores in my area - one has 15,000 bolts- but I still go to Fat Quarter Shop online, or try Cotton Charm Quilts online.Four O'Clock Quilt Companyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03652499571526090023noreply@blogger.com
