No surprise, since I had shared that my 5 WIP were all runners, well, its another table runner. I got a charm pack of these beautiful reds and taupes, then had to get another to match the triangles... then I ended up with 2 packs of 30 left, so got ANOTHER pack so I will be sure to have enough to make something else :) anyone else do that? end up with more in the leftover pile than you actually used on a project?
This makes 4 runners that are ready to be quilted so I am going to set up my acrylic table thingy and swap on the darning foot and free motion the day away! Since the rain just moved in, this will be a good to to just hunker down, me and the machine till I pick up the kiddos.
Hope you all have a great day!... and don't forget to comment to be entered in the fist 50 comments giveaway!
"Guilty" as well but I have so few other vices and fabric and textiles seems so mild considering what else is "out there" -smile-.
ReplyDeleteI love pinwheels! This is beautiful, great colors.
ReplyDeletePretty pinwheels! Have fun quilting. Boy I still need a lot of practice with that.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogging. I came over from Carrie's blog. I'm off now to look around! Cindy
ReplyDeleteIf I am adding to the linen closet with quilts and goodies......it only makes sense to add to my studio closet as well. Don't want a jealous closet do we?
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your blog and all the pretties, keep it up.
I like the colors together. What a pretty runner that will be.
ReplyDeleteTablerunners are so fun to make and I love to give them too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes...buy up while I know it is available and then it goes to the scrap pile waiting for the next gorgeous project...guilty here!
ReplyDeleteYour pinwheels are darling.
The French General is a great fabric line, along with Les Jardins! I think I am going to have to get Bunny Hill's Christmas pattern and the one using Les Jardins and The French General. Looks like winter work for me!
ReplyDeletelove the pinwheels
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric, pretty table runner. I don't think you will end up with too much "leftovers". My last project with 5" charms is a hexagon table runner. I am sure they would look good in the snowball blocks as well! Thank you for a nice visit, and have fun sewing and blogging!

I love getting several charm packs of a fabric line I love! French General reminds me of quilting with redwork embroidery. I think I'll have to get some pieces from this line.
ReplyDeleteI love, love LOVE these fabrics, too.
