100th post give away!

100 posts ... it took me a little time to get there, but this is my 100th post for my blog.

To celebrate I am giving away this set of 5 fat quarters of Merry Mushroom by Windham and 1/2 yard cuts of 2 of my favorite Kona cotton colors, Papaya and Green Grass. This was on e of those happy finds at Joann Fabrics in the FQ section that I over bought... think I got 5 bundles, so I thought if I shared maybe I would be inspired to use the ones I have!

.

To enter just leave a comment. You can say congrats on 100, you can tell me about a happy find you have made at Joann, or tell me if you know of any great quilt stores in the Banson MO Eureka Springs AR area as that is where we are headed for Thanksgiving next week. I will close entries on Friday.

And another give away, sort of..... some of you may remember awhile back when I ordered some quilt labels from Sweetwater. Well, after getting them it occurred to me how easy it would be to make them myself so I proceeded to do so. What I failed to consider was the number of quilts I made by the end of the year needed to match the number of labels printed with the year on them. I must have been feeling very productive that day.....

So, I have one that does not have my last name.... If your name is 'Diane' spelled this way... throw up your hand and I will stick this in the mail to you :) Come the first of the year when I print new ones for me I will give away a set with someone elses name on it, but for now, only 'Diane' wins.

  1. Congratulations on 100!! That's a big milestone - but the next hundred goes really quickly! And Joann's is my favorite place to shop locally - plus it's always exciting to find something you wouldn't expect to see there!

  11. Congrats! 100 is a lot of posts. Have you gone back through some of your older posts?

The fabric is cute too! I can see why you bought so many. I love it when you can get a good deal like that. Hobby Lobby has some really cute quilting weight cotton fabric in their fashion section.

  12. Congratulations! And if you take the Creek Turnpike through Tulsa on your way to Branson, call me. I'm only about a mile off the turnpike and we could meet! I'm going to Branson the next weekend! There is a good shop there but I can't remember the name of it. You'll find it, I'm sure.

  15. Congratulations Diane on 100 posts!! I can't say anything about Joanns because we unfortunately don't have them here. I think our equivalent is Spotlight which can sometimes surprise with a great fabric find. A perfect mix of fabrics you've chosen for your giveaway! Look forward to your next 100!!

  22. Congrats on your 100th Post, Diane! And, darn it all, my dad just had to make me different and spell my name with two "n's" lol I'm actually from Springfield, MO and spent half of my childhood in Branson and many day trips in Eureka Springs (after I could drive and would drive down there for something to do!) But, I wasn't into quilting then, so I'm sorry that I can't help you with that. I sure hope you enjoy your trip there though! My all time favorite place to get fudge though is located in the Grand Country Market on Highway 76. I've been eating that fudge for as long as I can remember and my mom even mails some up to me every now and then! Take care and have a safe trip!

  23. Congrats on 100 posts! And, my name is Dianne, but not spelled that way. Alas, there ought to be one out there somewhere. Question: What method did you use to make your own labels? There are several out there, but yours is so crisp. Love it! -- Dianne M. (Oklahoma)
