8/10 WIP



Not much quilt sewing going on here this week. Band camp started and with that comes china silk flags and fancy costumes, but I do have a little to report.



Completed:



Wonky Pastel Logs Cabin got completed. It does not match anything in the house but is currently on the sofa in the living room just because it makes me smile.



New Projects:
Is it possible, no new projects to report?

Progress:


All the blocks for the County Fair WIP are now completed and 1/4 are on the design wall.





I got some more 36 patch blocks done and I am featuring them posing with my favorite appliance this summer, the air conditioning units.





Two more rainbow blocks completed.

  1. The theme this week on WIP, I believe, is similar to what you have stated. We are all taking a bit of a breather now, as school obligations kick into gear and we are pulled away from our glorious days of summer sewing. But band camp is important (having done that a time or two) and I believe it's also important to have a break, to recharge, for when school's underway and we can sneak back to our machines.

    Fun to see all your projects. I love that your colors are so fresh and crisp and I laughed at your comment about the air conditioner!!
